| The Tortilla Factory
tradition began in 1972 with the opening of a tortilla manufacturing plant in
downtown Herndon. To complement the fresh, stone-ground tortillas, the staff
offered a variety of Southwestern fillings and side dishes for carryout only.
The traditional Sonora-style cooking was so popular that they decided to open
the Tortilla Factory Restaurant in 1975. Using fresh produce and meats
from local vendors and spices from Arizona and New Mexico, the Tortilla
Factory has become known for consistently good, fresh and authentic
Southwestern cuisine. |
